LedSync is an exploratory file-conversion script designed to extract tabular transaction data from legacy PDF bank statements and format them into generic, structured spreadsheets (CSV/QBO).

No file uploads or data transmissions are accepted.

Functional Scope (What It Does)

  • Parses visual text rows from unencrypted PDF bank statements.
  • Extracts Date, Payee/Description, and Amount values.
  • Verifies mathematical checksums: Starting Balance + Credits - Debits = Ending Balance.
  • Outputs structured text tables for standard accounting software import (CSV / QBO).

Technical Safeguards

  • Completely Stateless: Uploaded documents are processed in temporary RAM and purged immediately.
  • No Persistent Storage: No customer financial records, PII, or document copies are saved.
  • Zero External APIs: Document processing runs strictly via local machine vision libraries.

Express Limitations (What It Does NOT Do)

  • No Tax Preparation: Does not calculate taxes, file returns, or prepare tax forms.
  • No Tax Advice: Contains zero tax rules, tax logic, or legal guidance.
  • No Representation: Has no affiliation or integration with government agencies or filing gateways.
  • No Client Interaction: Purely a file-formatting tool for third-party document reconciliation.
